White Pearl by Valchromat

The pursuit of perfect white has challenged engineered wood panel manufacturers for decades. After years of meticulous research and development, Valchromat has achieved what many thought impossible: White Pearl, the whitest panel in the market. This groundbreaking addition to Valchromat’s renowned color range represents not just a new shade, but a technological breakthrough that redefines industry standards.

We were entrusted to unveil this innovation to the world, crafting a comprehensive brand strategy, visual identity, and compelling creative assets that would properly elevate this landmark achievement in materials engineering.

We crafted a dynamic 3D motion graphics teaser that visualizes White Pearl’s innovative production process. Focusing on the transformation from wood to panel, we tried to realistically replicate the wood fibers as they explode and compress into the final product. After various rounds of R&D and testing, we ended up with a sequence that captures that raw process.

Creative Direction

We developed a comprehensive creative brief to guide White Pearl’s visual storytelling. Working with the talented photographer Pedro Cardoso @fotografamos, we brought this vision to life through a collection of compelling product images that perfectly capture the material’s distinctive qualities.

As part of the brand strategy, we created a copy deck that included the tagline ‘A brilliant color by Valchromat’ – capturing both the exceptional luminosity of the product and the ingenuity behind its creation. To accompany the tagline, we created the spark – a glyph companion to the identity, to reinforce the idea of ‘brilliant’.
